Seydou Doumbia, M.D., Ph.D., is deputy scientific director of the Malaria Research and Training Center, and professor of epidemiology at the Department of Public Health, Faculty of Medicine, University of Bamako, Mali. Dr. Doumbia holds an M.D. degree from University of Bamako, and a Ph.D. from Tulane University, New Orleans, U.S.A.
